Prerequisites

• To access the Train Visits view, you need to assign the Train Visits - View privilege to your user role.

The Train Visits view displays the train visits that exist at the complex in the current scope. You can add new train visits or delete existing train visits from this view.

To add a new train visit:

To edit or delete a train visit:

1. In the list view, select the record(s) that you want to edit or delete.

2. Do one of the following:

• Click to edit a selected record.

• Click to delete the selected record(s).

Use the Actions menu to:

• Export SNX File: Export the selected train visits as an XML file using the snx.xsd format.

• Advance Train Visit (on page 1): Advance the selected train visit to the next phase of work life cycle.

• Edit Train Itinerary: (on page 1) Edit the itinerary for the selected train visit.

• Edit Train Visit (on page 1): Edit details such as the routing, schedule, holds/permissions, or event history for the selected train visit.

• Record Service Event (on page 1): Record service events for the selected train visit.

• Update Holds/Permissions (on page 1): Update holds or permissions for the selected train visit.

• Recall Train (on page 1): Recall a train visit that is in the Departed phase (on page 1).

• Create Service Order (on page 1): Create a carrier visit service order for the selected train visit.

• Add Empty Railcars (on page 1): Add empty railcars to the selected inbound or through train visit.

• Reroute Train Visit (on page 1): Reroute a train visit that is already routed to another facility.
